STOCKHOLM, Sweden (AP) _ Swedish bus and truck maker A-B Volvo says it plans to delist from the Nasdaq exchange because of insufficient trade.

It also announced today it will also deregister its shares from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The delisting is expected to be completed at the end of this year.

Volvo has previously delisted from markets in Tokyo, London, Paris, Brussels, Oslo, Helsinki, Germany and Switzerland.

Volvo has been listed on Nasdaq since 1985 with the aim of bolstering international ownership in the company.
